The Cressi Mask Quantum is a revolutionary dive mask that not only offers improved vision below the surface, but also prevents fogging due to its internal system that adjusts the temperature and humidity of the air exiting the nose.
How does this work?
A structure of membranes built into the framing around the eyes and nose redirect the air away from the lenses and towards the silicone skirt.
The exterior of the skirt is equipped with a cooling system consisting of two mini heat exchangers functioning as radiators.
The result of this is that the internal temperature of the mask decreases, making it similar to the outside temperature, and the moisture droplets are blocked from getting to the lenses, thus preventing them from becoming fogged up.
The Cressi Quantum mask is a highly sophisticated product in the underwater vision market, boasting a remarkably small size despite the presence of air-diverting internal membranes and external heat exchangers.
The Quantum is made for scuba diving and snorkelling, but its low volume makes it a great freediving mask too.
