The Tusa Paragon Mask features two separate windows made from tempered glass, offering superior clarity with a wide field of vision that allows for easy tracking of underwater objects.
The CrystalView optical glass provides exceptional transparency and an anti-glare coating. Its single lens design offers an improved view of the surrounding environment and improved visual acuity.
The dangers of ultraviolet (UV) light are widely understood, but High-Energy Visible (HEV) light can be just as hazardous. This type of light, which falls in the 400-420 part of the spectrum, has been linked to cell death in the retina due to oxidative stress. Even on cloudy days, HEV light is present, so it’s essential to protect your eyes from both UV and HEV light in all weather conditions when participating in activities like diving. The Paragon lens is treated with a UV420 coating which shields from intense visible light, and its three-part construction makes for a sturdy frame
The face skirt and frame of the Paragon Mask are made from a soft silicone material, providing a comfortable and secure fit for extended periods of time.
TUSA’s Freedom Technology provides users with improved fit and performance. The Freedom model masks, like the Paragon Mask, Â feature a dimpled skirt surface with different silicone thicknesses and stability ridges, as well as a special low-friction skirt surface on the fitting line. The Fit II technology further strengthens and rigidifies the skirt, making it suitable for use in extreme conditions.
The top and bottom of the frame is designed to be ergonomic and easily adjustable, allowing for a custom fit without the need for mask straps. The Skirt Mounted Five Angle Strap Adjustor provides an adjustable solution to customize the pressure of the mask on the face, allowing the user to both increase and decrease the pressure horizontally and vertically in five separate increments for the best possible fit.
TUSA’s Round Edge Skirt is designed with a unique rounded edge that offers a more comfortable and secure fit, without the creasing that can be caused by other skirts. The silicone skirt provides a planar fit, rather than a linear one, which provides a snug fit and greater comfort than ever before.
Additionally, The Tusa Paragon features a low-profile design and a low drag surface to reduce resistance in the water and improve overall performance.
